For those of you wondering what the class schedule will be like, the information has been posted as a link on the top of the page. Also, we have also added the JTG 2008 Calendar to the site so please follow the link on over and see what will be happening this summer! As a final note, THE JOURNEY TO GREECE STUDENTS GET A SNEAK PREVIEW OF THE NEW ACROPOLIS MUSEUM! This is ahead of the September public opening of the museum.

I would like to thank Hellenext and the Next Generation Initiative for allowing me the opportunity to serve the Greek and Greek-American communities this year as your Next Generation Initiative Student Correspondent. As I look back on the time spent editing the Journey to Greece blog and the AHEPA Educational Foundation E-Bulletins, I feel it was a growing experience for me. To Leon and Bill thank you for the tremendous honor of being able to return to Greece and to forward Hellenism and for the privilege of your trust. To Dr. Jim Dimitriou, you put a great deal of faith in me and I believe we worked well together on the trip and produced some outstanding work, we spent hours on the E-Bulletins and drank our fair share of frappe’ (but not too quickly). To the University of Indianapolis, you provided the irreplaceable educational aspect to the program with your staff always approachable and ready to help in any way possible; the professors were outstanding and the coursework was challenging. Again, Hellenext and the Next Generation Initiative made my trip back to Greece possible again, this year along with the blog everyone has become so fond.
